The NS 160 Base model brings high-revving, aggressive performance to the 160cc segment with its potent 4-valve, oil-cooled engine. It loves to be ridden hard, delivering a surge of top-end power that makes it incredibly thrilling on open stretches of road. Despite its high-performance nature, it manages to maintain acceptable fuel efficiency for daily riding.
Design
It utilizes the legendary perimeter frame chassis and aggressive streetfighter styling first introduced by the NS200. The sharp, heavily sculpted fuel tank, sharp tank shrouds, and sleek tail section make it look aggressive and fast even when standing still. The traditional telescopic forks and underbelly exhaust complete the classic, raw NS look.
Technology
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 Base is a streetfighter motorcycle built around a rigid perimeter frame. It is powered by a 160.3 cc oil-cooled, twin-spark, 4-valve FI (Fuel Injection) engine that generates of power and of torque. It pairs a smooth 5-speed gearbox with reliable dual-channel ABS braking.
Comfort
The ergonomics are decidedly sporty, with rear-set footpegs and clip-on handlebars that encourage an aggressive, tucked-in riding stance. The split seats are firm, providing excellent rider feedback for spirited riding but requiring breaks on very long journeys. The Nitrox monoshock absorbs road imperfections well while keeping the chassis incredibly stable.
Pulsar NS200 Handling & Safety
The perimeter frame gives the NS 160 an edge in cornering, offering unmatched stiffness and precision in its class. The bike dives into corners eagerly and remains extremely stable, inspiring huge confidence in the rider. Braking is handled by petal discs at both ends, equipped with single-channel ABS to keep the front wheel safely tracked during hard stops.
