Performance
Mechanically identical to its single-seat sibling, the Split Seat variant utilizes the highly refined 164.82cc engine to deliver punchy, instantaneous power. The throttle response is exceptionally crisp, making quick overtakes and spirited riding highly engaging. It manages to balance this aggressive performance with excellent thermal management and solid fuel economy.
Design
The aesthetic is turned up a notch with an aggressive split-seat configuration and split rear grab rails, giving it a distinctly sporty tail profile. The robotic LED projector headlamp, sharp tank shrouds, and premium paint finishes make it look like a much larger capacity motorcycle. The dark-finished USD forks add a massive, muscular presence to the front end.
Technology
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 Split Seat USD features a 164.82cc engine producing 16 PS of power and 14.65 Nm of torque. It upgrades the streetfighter’s front end with a 37mm Upside Down (USD) fork for sharper handling, pairs with a sportier split seat, and includes a convenient USB charging port.
Handling & safety
The dynamic handling is superb; the rigid frame and USD forks work in harmony to keep the bike perfectly planted mid-corner. The weight distribution is highly centralized, largely due to the underbelly exhaust, making the bike feel incredibly flickable. Best-in-class dual-channel ABS paired with massive disc brakes ensures immense, fade-free stopping power.
